Lord of the Miracles - Lima

Tens of thousands of believers are drawn to the streets of Lima to march through the streets carrying a 2 ton statue of Christ. Arguably not the most festive of celebrations, it tends to draw crowds into the hundreds of thousands, a site you won't want to miss if you are passing through Peru in late October. However,you will find every street corner bustling with local vendors and the best bullfighters around. This event kicks off the bullfighting season and the contention for the coveted Golden Cape of our Lord of Miracles.
