Water Festival – Phnom Penh

From: October 23 To October 26
Location: Cambodia

Imagine Mardi Gras of Southeast Asia. This is the largest festival in Cambodia, with over a million people flocking to the banks of the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers. Boat races mark this time, with hundreds of brightly colored boats and 50 paddlers each. There are also several nights of fireworks and vividly decorated floats that precede each display. This festival marks the changing of the flow of the Tonle Sap River. And to ease your troubled mind, there are a plethora of parades, parties, music, dancing, and shows.
