New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival - Louisiana

In 1970, Louisiana became the stage to a momentous musical event which would lead decades of historical musical performances. Born from an impromptu jam session between Mahalia Jackson, Duke Ellington and the Eureka Brass Band, two festivals merged, giving birth to The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. This years lineup continues with the tradition of eclectic brilliance and diverse musical genres such as jazz, gospel, Cajun, zydeco, blues, R&B, rock, funk, African, Latin, Caribbean, folk, and much more. This years headliners are Kid Rock, John Mellencamp, Wilco, Willie Nelson, Alejandro Sans, Mumford and Sons, Jason Mraz, Jimmy Buffet, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Strokes, Aracade Fire, Wycliff Jean, John Legend & The Roots, Vickie Winans, Lupe Fiasco and a lot more!
