Lake of Stars - Lake Malawi

Set on the shores of Africa's third largest lake, Lake of Stars is completely powered by volunteers and love for music and the country that inspires it. While the music fest has only been around for several years, it quickly rose to the top of the tourism destinations in Malawi, winning the Tourism Award in its first year. The closest town is Lilongwe, but the organizers are dedicated to getting you there when and where you need to be. Because the emphasis is tourism and it is UK organized, there is a lot of help for those speaking other languages. Besides the setting, music, and good times, this is an amazing way to share in the beauty of a country that has had a rough history so go and enjoy the beauty you find!
