Erfoud Date Festival

Fixed with all the expected festival trimmings, the unique part of this celebration is that it surrounds one of the most widely produced fruits of the areas, the date. Most of the frivolity happens in  Berber tents set up in the town where you can meet some locals and share some tea. Don't miss out on the dromedary competition. Dromedary? Yup, camel races. Enjoy the show. NOTE: the dates of the...er, date festival are flexible due to the harvest time so double check as time draws near! It is always in early October.
