 Itinerary Wiesen Summer Festival
From: June 01 To August 31  If you travel about 60 km south of Vienna you will arrive at the picturesque little town of Wiesen. For a couple months during the summer, the towns population jumps from about to 3000 to 30,000. Music and art lovers congregate to rock out to acts ranging from jazz, rock, pop, hip hop and reggae. This years headliners include classics acts like Joe Cocker and newcomer Joss Stone. Known as the Austrian Woodstock, there are outdoor camping facilities for those wanting to hit multiple shows in one trip or you can also pick up a day pass if your just traveling through.
