Zurich Festival

The 10th annual Zurich Festival is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the finest arts festivals in Europe. This year most of the events take place in the Tonhalle, where ensembles such as the Philharmonia Orchestra London and the Tonhalle Orchestra will be performing the respective 250th and 100th birthdays of Mozart and Shostakovich. Expect to hear a blend of scores by legendary figures like Mikhail Pletnev and Mstislav Rostropovichvoras. The festival regularly invites new musical talent as guest orchestras and conductors from all over Europe add different flavors to the musical proceedings.
