Herds Migration - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

From: July 20 To September 30
Location: Kenya

The annual Great Wildebeest migration across the Serengeti to Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve is the planet’s only remaining mass herd migration. Experiencing it in Kenya is the best way to see the massive animal wave comprising of 1.4 million fight for their life as they move across the plains in search of a fresh food supply. The herds begin their journey in June and by September they will have reached their goal where they can be found grazing across the expanse of the Mara. Be there to feel the ground rumble as the herd approaches, watch them make the perilous cross through the Mara River dodging the hungry crocodiles and fight though the night to make it past the predatory lions and the circling Hyenas. This is truly natures great race and ultimate test of survival of the fittest.
