2008 Summer Olympic Games - Beijing

There is no greater nor timeless festival than the Olympic games.  Dating back to 776 BC, the Greek's began this tradition of competition and prestige.  The Olympic games celebrate physical prowess, culture and teamwork which is why this transcendent festival was revived in 1896 and now is comprised of 302 events in 28 different sports.

For the 2008 summer Olympics, the host city of Beijing has been transformed into a modern metropolis while still preserving the historic strokes of its ancient beauty.  For several weeks, hundreds of thousands of people will call it home for as they travel to China to watch the elite athletes from around the world challenging themselves mentally and physically.  Come August, the eyes of the world will be on China as the iconic five rings decorate the city of Beijing!
