Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival - Manchester Tennessee

The 2008 lineup lives up to the unparalleled Bonnaroo reputation.  Gracing the many stages will be blockbuster acts like Pearl Jam, Jack Johnson and Kanye West.  Smaller, but equally as entertaining are some of my favorites: the Avett Brothers, MIA and Death Cab for Cutie.  This festival does not  limited itself to music and art, the organizers have combined efforts with Conscience Alliance to bolster environmental awareness.  This has the practical translation to the conscience production of the event and teaching the festival goers easy ways to go green.  Additionally, Bonnaroo hosts a massive food drive which last year was responsible for collecting 10,000 pounds of food.
