The Avignon Theatre Festival - Avignon

The Avignon Theatre Festival is bringing it's remarkable theatrical entertainment to France for the 62nd year. Drawing on an international crowd base, the festival is set in what is known as the City of the Popes. Born from the vision of director Jean Vilar, the festival has become one of the summer's cultural highlight selling over 100,00 seats annual. For three weeks Avignon is scattered with stages transforming the city into a theatrical wonderland.
