Labor Day – Nassau

Location: Bahamas

For the islands of the Bahamas you will be hard pressed to find any holiday that is not celebrated in America. This particular day is a bit unique, however. In the capital city of this island chain, you will find members of the labor unions and political parties marching in the streets donned with colorful uniforms. Local bands lead the parade to Southern Recreation Grounds  where members of the unions/parties deliver speeches.
