Heilala Festival – Nuku alofa

From: July 09 To August 01
Location: Tonga

Like many pacific islands, the flower plays an important role in the daily life and celebrations of the culture. The heilala is Tonga’s national flower and is the inspiration for a month long of festivities. A variety of bloc parties, dance exhibitions, talent shows, music fests, handcrafts, pageants and a parade. If you can be in Tonga during the month of July you will not regret your experience!
